First Lady of Burundi Leads Government and Business Delegation on Visit to Soundbox.

On the morning of March 2, the First Lady of the Republic of Burundi, Denise Bucumi Nkurunziza, and her country’s business delegation paid an official visit to Soundbox Company.

Warm Welcome and Company Overview

Mr. Yin Yimin, Chairman of Soundbox, Jacky, Overseas Marketing Director, and the company’s leadership team extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Mr. Yin Yimin opened the friendly talks by introducing the company's development, its corporate mission, vision, and core values.

Under Mr. Yin Yimin’s guidance, the First Lady and her delegation toured Soundbox’s acoustic laboratory and the full-matrix sound insulation and noise reduction product exhibition hall. They gained a deeper understanding of the wide-ranging applications of acoustics across sectors, including medical care, education, military industry, construction, and housing.

Experiencing Innovation and Strategic Talks

The delegation was particularly impressed by the quiet experience offered by Soundbox’s new product, the "Silent pod" (launched in 2019). The First Lady and her entourage entered the pod to experience its remarkable isolation, expressing great admiration for Soundbox’s product design and R&D capabilities.

Following the tour, the First Lady and her delegation held in-depth discussions with Soundbox’s team, exploring strategic cooperation in areas such as technical collaboration, new material research and development, and achievement transformation.

Agreement and Future Cooperation

The visit culminated with the two parties formally signing a framework for a strategic cooperation agreement and exchanging souvenirs to mark the occasion.

At the end of the visit, the First Lady expressed her strong affirmation of Soundbox's industry leadership in acoustic technology. She voiced hope that more innovative technology companies like Soundbox would join the effort to promote African economic development and further strengthen the friendly cooperative relations between China and Burundi.
